Review of the Week.

A typical week for me carries different emotions; one of excitement and one of anxiety. This week we finally launched a plan I have waited for over three years, our first home for children in the local hospital and families. It allows parents to be close to their children and giving kids home away from home while getting treatment in hospitals. It is the first free home to support families in my community. This week I also remembered two great friends and people who have inspired our cause in the community.

My typical week also gets me looking at my numbers as I must ensure we get bums on beds. Every day you must deal with two emotions an insane belief or the dreaded fear, you must choose. It dawned on me that I have to make big decisions and look introspective to confront some choices that I would rather avoid, but now I have to face up.

We get our first client to move into our New Studio apartments today. We also helped the local hospital source accommodation for a specialist consultant. These are the small highlights that reassure me to keep pushing. Remember there’s going to be anxiety about uncertainty and fear about failing, but push yourself to keep going. After all, you will never know how close you are to succeeding if you quit now. “Chuks Uwaechia”

Have a great week. God bless you all.
