A few days ago, we came across a handwritten message that stopped us in our tracks.

It was from a teacher who relocated to Medway, Kent, through an international teacher placement company that had been struggling to find suitable accommodation for its educators.

Medway’s rental market is tight. Teachers arriving from abroad were being placed in unsuitable or overcrowded housing, or in some cases, had nowhere to go at all.

We stepped in to provide clean, safe, move-in-ready accommodation that gave these professionals the dignity and stability they deserved from day one.

The message read:

“Thank you for providing me a place to call home.
Coming to a new country is hard, your kindness made it easier.”

It’s moments like this that remind us why we do what we do.
